A faster skier must choose a ski slope in a way that does not endanger the skiers in front of him.
Overtaking
A skier may overtake at will, but at such a distance that the overtaken person has enough space to ski.
Skiing knowledge
A skier must adapt his speed to his knowledge, the conditions on the ski slope and the density of skiers.
Downhill - continuation
Before skiing down the slope, a skier must look up and down to see if it is safe for him and others.
Stopping
A skier must not stop on more difficult parts of the ski slope, except in an emergency, but he must move away as soon as possible.
Ascent - descent
A skier may only use part of the ski slope for ascent or descent.
Observing signs
A skier must respect information, signals and traffic signs on ski slopes.
Assistance in the event of an accident
In the event of an accident, a skier is obliged to assist the injured person to the best of his or her ability.
Duty to provide identification
A skier, participant or witness, whether responsible or not, must allow the responsible person to provide identification in the event of an accident.
